Mike Warnock

Michael’s interest in fish keeping began one bright fourth grade day when his teacher kept him in from recess and had him clean the class fish tank. Seeing his enthusiasm for the task, she then showed him the deeper world of aquatic biology through a microscope. He was stunned at this new world unveiled before him. (One wonders how many curious fourth graders are turned to a life of addiction to fish-keeping by sinister elementary school teachers.)  He got his first ten-gallon tank that weekend and it was all downhill from there. Since then, he has rarely been without a specimen, from snakes to fish to frogs, always in a quality habitat.

Mike has been working for The FISH CONNECTION for three years. Between being an outdoors fanatic, working multiple jobs and maintaining his vast animal husbandry (which now includes saltwater habitats and Reef systems), he has his hands full. This, along with volunteer work in his local church, and its amazing he finds time for his own life. Micheal is happy to help you with your fish related problems or he'll just talk-shop to any one with an inclined ear.  After nearly 17 years in the hobby there is no end in sight and the more he discovers, the more he realizes how much there is to discover.

(No he's not really this twisted! Although ya gotta wonder... What kinda crazy-man would even pose for a picture like this?)
